Grandma’s kitchen – what memories does that evoke? Warmth, aromas, baking, happy times?
Well our new exhibition is all about Grandma’s kitchen, with artefacts mainly from the 1940s and 50s, plus some either side of those decades.
There is bound to be something for everyone to look at and recall memories of childhood spent with grandparents during the holidays or other times.
It is only on for a short period, so the school holidays would be a good opportunity to come and have look, plus of course we are open on Sundays which is always a good chance to spend an hour or two looking around the museum.
The exhibition runs until Friday 30th October.
Do you remember the all important apron? Do you still use one?
